Gardena, CA.- A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in Gardena on Sunday night.
According to the Gardena Police Department, the collision occurred in the 1700 block of 135th Street at around 10:05 p.m. August 31.
A female pedestrian was reportedly hit by an Infiniti Q50 in the area under unclear circumstances.
The pedestrian, whose identity was not released, died at the scene.
The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
No further details were released.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
