Woodside, CA.- A bicyclist was hit and killed by a vehicle in Woodside on Friday afternoon, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred on Highways 35 and 84 at about 4:30 p.m. August 29.
According to the deputies, a bicyclist traveling near the intersection was hit by a pickup truck under unclear circumstances.
The rider was airlifted to Stanford Medical Center with major injuries and was pronounced deceased on Saturday.
The driver of the truck stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office
