Los Angeles, CA. – The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the pedestrian who was fatally hit by a vehicle Thursday night at an intersection in the Harbor Gateway neighborhood as 39-year-old Maria De Hernandez Pereria.
The accident occurred around 9:45 p.m. near 228th Street and Normandie Avenue.
Pereria was pronounced dead at the scene by responding emergency personnel.
