Police reported that an SUV was traveling east on Happy Valley Road when it drifted into the westbound side and collided with an oncoming SUV
Phoenix, AZ.- A 4-year-old was critically injured in a crash that happened in Phoenix on Saturday morning, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The incident took place on 49th Avenue and Happy Valley Road just before 8 a.m.
Police reported that an SUV was traveling east on Happy Valley Road when it drifted into the westbound side and collided with an oncoming SUV.
A child in one of the vehicles was transported with critical injuries.
Both drivers were also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
DUI is not suspected to have played a role in the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
