Mesa, AZ – An elderly man was fatally injured in a pedestrian accident Friday morning on 76th Street in East Valley.
The Mesa Police Department responded to the incident at about 9:30 a.m. in the area of 76th Street and McDowell Road, east of the Loop 202 Freeway.
The man was struck by a car for unknown reasons.
He was declared deceased at the crash site.
The name of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
The accident remains under investigation.
