Hayward, CA.- One person was killed in a car accident that took place in Hayward on Saturday night, according to the Hayward Police Department.
The incident took place on Hayward Boulevard and Civic Avenue at about 9:30 p.m. March 8.
According to the police, three vehicles were involved in the accident but the cause of the collision was not immediately released.
A passenger in one of the vehicles, a 20-year-old woman, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
An 18-year-old who was also a passenger in the vehicle was hospitalized with minor injuries.
A juvenile passenger was taken to a hospital and was said to be in stable condition
The other two drivers were treated for minor injuries.
It’s unclear whether alcohol played a role in the accident.
The investigation is ongoing.
