Long Beach, CA. – An 80-year-old man died after being struck by a car after being struck by a car in Long Beach on Monday.
According to the Long Beach Police Department, the accident happened near Atlantic Avenue and Pleasant Street.
Enrique Barajas was riding a bicycle northbound on Atlantic Avenue and was merging from the bike lane into a car lane and was sideswiped by a white SUV.
The Long Beach man was taken to hospital in critical condition.
Sadly, he succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment.
