Preliminary reports indicate that a pickup truck was traveling northbound on the highway when it drifted across the center line and collided head-on with an oncoming car.

Loon Lake, WA – Two drivers were injured in a collision between two vehicles near Loon Lake on Monday morning, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The wreck took place on Highway 395, nearly four miles south of Loon Lake on Monday, May 18.
Preliminary reports indicate that a pickup truck was traveling northbound on the highway when it drifted across the center line and collided head-on with an oncoming car. The vehicles then crashed into the guardrail and came to a rest blocking both lanes of the highway.
The driver of the car, a 27-year-old Kettle Falls man, was transported by helicopter to Sacred Heart in unknown condition.
The operator of the truck, a 32-year-old Maple Valley man, was transported by ambulance to Sacred Heart with unspecified injuries.
The driver of the truck was cited for crossing the center line.
More information on the collision were not available. The WSP is conducting an investigation into the incident.
