Sacramento, CA. – Authorities are investigating an incident where a worker died at a Costco gas station under construction in Sacramento on Monday morning.
According to the Sacramento Fire Department, the accident was reported just before 11 a.m. September 8, at the gas station located along Expo Parkway.
According to the report, a worker is believed to have had a medical episode and collapsed while cleaning an underground tank.
Firefighters responded to the scene and helped pull the worker out of the tank, before rushing him to a hospital.
The worker, who was not immediately identified, was later confirmed deceased
Authorities are conducting an investigation into the incident.
