Pine Valley, CA – The San Diego County Medical Examiner has identified the woman who was struck and killed by a vehicle in Pine Valley on April 13 as Mary Stewart, 61.

Stewart was walking along Pine Valley Boulevard near Rocky Pass when she was struck by a Ford pickup truck at about 11:00 a.m. She was rushed to Sharp Memorial Hospital Emergency Department where she was pronounced dead about an hour later.

Pine Valley, CA – A woman died after being struck by a vehicle while walking along a street in Pine Valley on Wednesday last week according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.

The deadly pedestrian accident happened at about 11:00 a.m. on April 13 on Pine Valley Boulevard south of Rocky Pass.

According to the Sheriff’s Department, the woman was walking along Pine Valley Boulevard near Rocky Pass when she was struck by a Ford pickup truck.

911 was called and deputies as well as emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene.

Authorities say responding paramedics provided lifesaving measures while transporting the injured pedestrian by ambulance to the Sharp Memorial Hospital Emergency Department.

Despite the provision of lifesaving measures, the woman succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at about 12:01 p.m. the same day.
