The driver of the Malibu, 26-year-old Geraldine Caicedo-Perez, and her passenger were injured and hospitalized
Mission Viejo, CA. – A woman was killed in a head-on collision early Wednesday morning in Mission Viejo.
The fatal collision happened around 1:45 a.m. at Marguerite Parkway and Pueblonuevo Drive, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
A Chevrolet Malibu was driving the wrong way in southbound lanes of Marguerite Parkway and collided head-on with a Toyota Camry.
The woman driving the Camry was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The driver of the Malibu, 26-year-old Geraldine Caicedo-Perez, and her passenger were injured and hospitalized.
Caicedo-Perez was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and gross vehicular manslaughter and was booked into the Orange County Jail.
