El Cerrito, CA. – 66-year-old Donna Revecho died weeks after she was struck by a vehicle near an intersection in El Cerrito, the Contra Costa County Coroner's Office reported.

According to the El Cerrito Police Department, Revecho was hit by a car for an unknown reason.
Responding emergency crews found the woman unresponsive in the roadway.
The victim was airlifted to a local trauma center for treatment. She later died from her injuries on December 4.
The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
El Cerrito PD said they would present the case to the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office for possible criminal charges against the motorist.
