Woman Hurt in Kern County Crash on Airport Road and Gas Company Road
Kern County, California (October 10, 2022) – A woman was injured in a collision involving a big rig in Kern County on Friday afternoon, according to the authorities.
The wreck happened just before 12:41 p.m. October 7, on Airport Road and Gas Company Road.
According to the report, an SUV and a semi-truck were involved in the collision at the intersection.
The big rig was pulling two trailers loaded with hay.
A woman who was a passenger in the SUV was transported to a hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
Two other parties in the SUV and the driver of the big rig were not injured.
The load on the truck reportedly shifted and hay had to be off-loaded onto the roadway.
Authorities blocked the intersection as they worked to clear the scene.
The CHP is investigating the crash.
