Riverside, CA – A female pedestrian was critically injured in a crash Wednesday afternoon at Arlington Avenue in West Riverside.
According to the Riverside Police Department, the wreck occurred at around 1 p.m. at Arlington Avenue and Ben Lomand Way.
Reportedly, the victim entered the crosswalk on Arlington Avenue and was struck by an eastbound 2005 Toyota Corolla being driven by a 25-year-old man.
The victim, only identified as a Riverside female resident, was taken to Riverside Community Hospital in critical condition.
Alcohol and drugs were not suspected in the incident.
