CHP said a woman was driving a 2002 GMC Sierra pickup truck northbound on Indian Valley Road when she drifted off the west side of the roadway

San Miguel, CA.- A woman was airlifted to a hospital after being involved in a solo crash near San Miguel on Tuesday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Shortly before 5:30 p.m. October 28, authorities responded to reports of a crash on Indian Valley Road near the San Luis Obispo/Monterey County line.
CHP said a woman was driving a 2002 GMC Sierra pickup truck northbound on Indian Valley Road when she drifted off the west side of the roadway.
The truck rolled down a cliff and came to a rest on its wheels in a grassy area.
Emergecy personnel extricated the female driver from the vehicle.
She was then flown to Marian Regional Medical Center with major injuries.
CHP reported that alcohol and drugs were not suspected to have played a role in the incident, which remained under investigation.
