
Victorville, CA.- A pedestrian died in a hit-and-run collision that occurred in Victorville on Tuesday evening, according to the authorities.
The incident was reported at around 6:30 p.m. on December 2, on Amargosa Road at Civic Drive.
Authorities reported that a pedestrian was hit by a driver who fled the scene after the crash.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department and Victorville Fire Department crews responded to the scene and located the victim. The pedestrian was declared deceased at the scene.
Authorities conducted a search for the hit-and-run motorist and later detained a suspect in connection with the accident. The Victorville Police Department is investigating the crash.
