According to authorities, two pickup trucks collided on the southbound side of Amargosa Road and the impact caused a Toyota to overturn
Victorville, CA – Injuries were reported in a car accident that took place in Victorville on Thursday afternoon, according to the Victorville Fire Department.
The accident was reported at around 2:20 p.m. January 29, on Amargosa Road near the Pancho Villa’s restaurant.
According to authorities, two pickup trucks collided on the southbound side of Amargosa Road and the impact caused a Toyota to overturn. The Toyota came to a rest upside down along the sidewalk and partially leaning against a fire hydrant.
The Toyota sustained major frame damage and a collapsed roof while the other vehicle, a white Dodge Ram 1500, had major damage to its front-end.
Firefighters and the Victorville Police Department assisted the crash victims at the scene. Two ambulances were requested to transport two patients.
The identities of the injured patients and details on their conditions were not immediately released.
Both vehicles had to be removed by tow trucks. Victorville Valley Towing helped remove the vehicles from the scene.
As police conducted investigations and the scene was cleared, the southbound side of Amargosa Road was temporarily blocked to traffic.
At this time, the cause of the crash has not yet been ascertained. The Victorville Police Department is investigating the accident.
