Investigators reported that the e-bike rider collided with a gray Toyota Camry in the southbound lanes of Amargosa Road

Victorville, CA – An e-bike rider was injured in a collision with a vehicle on Amargosa Road in Victorville on Wednesday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck happened south of Civic Drive at around 5:30 p.m. on April 22.
Investigators reported that the e-bike rider collided with a gray Toyota Camry in the southbound lanes of Amargosa Road. The Camry sustained damage to its driver’s side bumper and hood.
The Victorville Fire Department crews responded to the scene and located the rider down along the sidewalk.
The rider was transported by ambulance to St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley for treatment of unspecified injuries.
According to authorities, the involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators. The occupants of the vehicle were not hurt in the incident.
