Investigations revealed that a vehicle was traveling near the intersection when its driver lost control and slammed into several parked vehicles and a pedestrian.

Vallejo, CA – The pedestrian who was hit and killed by a vehicle at an intersection in North Vallejo last week on Thursday has been identified by the Solano County Coroner’s Office.
The collision happened in the area of Broadway Street and Mahogany Drive at around 1:12 p.m. July 30.
Investigations revealed that a vehicle was traveling near the intersection when its driver lost control and slammed into several parked vehicles and a pedestrian.
Vallejo police, along with fire and medical personnel, arrived at the scene shortly after and located the involved parties.
Medics provided emergency aid to the severely injured pedestrian, before rushing her to a hospital.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the hospital. The coroner’s office identified her as Dreanna Walker, 26.
Another person who was inside one of the parked vehicles was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
The involved driver stayed at the scene and was not suspected to have been impaired.
The accident remained under investigation by the Vallejo Police Department.
