Victorville, CA – The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office has identified 21-year-old Martin Torres, of Los Angeles, as a victim killed in a crash on Interstate 15 in Victorville Saturday afternoon.
The mishap happened at about 4:08 p.m. on November 23 on 15 Freeway near La Mesa/Nisqualli Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol incident logs, a blue sedan was traveling southbound on Mariposa Road when it overturned multiple times, crashed through the freeway perimeter fence, and collided head-on with a gray Nissan SUV on the northbound freeway.
Torres was pronounced dead at the scene and two other people were transported via ground ambulances to local area hospitals.
The accident is under investigation by the Victorville Police Department.
