San Ysidro, CA – The San Diego County Coroner’s Office has identified a pedestrian killed in a last week Monday morning accident on Interstate 805 in San Ysidro as 43-year-old Maria Dela Paz Ramos.
The wreck happened on 805 Freeway at San Ysidro Boulevard at around 6:01 a.m. on February 10.
Ramos was walking across Interstate Route 805 when she was struck by a southbound Honda sedan and thrown onto the shoulder of the freeway.
Ramos was transported to the UCSD Medical Center’s Emergency Department, where she later died.
No additional details about the wreck were reported.
The crash remains under investigation.
