San Diego, CA. – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a multi-vehicle collision in San Diego on Saturday night.
The accident happened around 10:35 p.m. on Highway 163 near the 805 Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Three cars were recovered at the scene, but the events leading up to the accident were not immediately determined.
One person was injured in the accident and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Overall, serious crash counts remained elevated as the region’s population and travel exposure grew, highlighting continued traffic safety challenges across urban and suburban roadways. These shifts underscore the importance of sustained enforcement and safety initiatives.
