Boyle Heights, CA. – The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has identified a senior man killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash at an intersection in Boyle Heights Tuesday night.
According to the authorities, 77-year-old Jose Dorado was involved in an accident at around 8:05 p.m. on April 16 at Mission Road and Plaza del Sol.
Dorado was hit by a vehicle at the intersection and the suspect fled the scene before the officers arrived.
Dorado was pronounced dead at the crash site.
The suspect is at large.

Boyle Heights, CA – A pedestrian died in a hit-and-run accident that happened Tuesday night at an intersection in Boyle Heights, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
The crash took place around 8:05 p.m. at Mission Road and Plaza del Sol.
LAPD officers and Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to the scene and found a man who was struck by a driver who fled the scene.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene by the firefighters.
Police officers found out that a vehicle was traveling south on Mission Road when it hit the man and fled the scene.
There was no information given about the suspect driver or vehicle.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
