Bakersfield, CA. – The coroner’s office has released the identity of the woman killed in a car crash on Highway 65 in Bakersfield Saturday evening.

The victim identified as Jaqueline Orosco, 21, of Bakersfield, was involved in a car crash at around 5 p.m. on State Route 65 near Highway 155.

Reportedly, a Toyota was traveling northbound on Highway 65, approaching the driver of a Ford. In unclear circumstances, the Ford lost control, veered into the opposing lane, and broadsided the left side of a Toyota. The Ford then slammed into a Honda that was behind the Toyota.

Orosco, who was a passenger in the Toyota was pronounced dead at the scene.

Bakersfield, CA. – Authorities are investigating a deadly head-on collision in Bakersfield Saturday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The incident was reported at around 5 p.m. on State Route 65 just south of Highway 155.

A red van collided head-on with a blue van in unclear circumstances.

One person was killed in the mishap.

The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.

No additional information about the collision was provided.
