Union City, CA. – 54-year-old Gilbert Ramirez died after he was hit by a vehicle Wednesday morning at an intersection in Union City, the coroner's bureau reported.
The accident occurred around 6:25 a.m. at Decoto Road and Royal Ann Drive.
According to the Union City Police Department, Ramirez was crossing Decoto Road when he was struck by a car.
Ramirez was pronounced dead at the scene.

Union City, CA. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car on Wednesday morning in Union City.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened around 6:30 a.m. in the area of Decoto Road and Royal Ann Drive.
A 55-year-old man was crossing Decoto Road and was hit by a car.
The man was killed in the accident.
The driver of the car remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
