Santa Ana, CA. – 44-year-old Flor Mecon Granados has been identified as a motorcyclist killed in a collision on Bristol Street early Thursday morning.

The police said the accident happened on Bristol Street and Central Avenue at around 2:56 a.m. on April 11.

Reportedly, a 2024 Mazda operated by 29-year-old Mario Celestino Torres rear-ended a motorcycle being ridden by Granados.

Granados was pronounced dead at the scene.

Torres was charged with gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and driving under the influence of alcohol causing injury with a sentencing enhancement for inflicting great bodily injury on the victim.

Santa Ana, CA. – A motorcycle rider was killed in a wreck on Bristol Street in Santa Ana early Thursday Night, according to a police report.

The traffic collision happened at around 2:56 a.m. on Bristol Street and Central Avenue.

Reportedly, the motorcyclist was traveling northbound on Bristol Street and approaching Central Avenue when a southbound car attempted to make an eastbound turn onto Central Avenue and collided with the biker.

The biker was transported to a hospital for treatment, where they were pronounced dead.

The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.

Alcohol and drugs were not suspected to have caused the mishap.

An investigation is underway.
