Alonso Hernandez Dies in Visalia Car Accident on Goshen Avenue Sunday Afternoon

Visalia, CA – The police have identified the male driver killed after a crash on Goshen Avenue in Visalia Sunday afternoon as 20-year-old Alonso Hernandez.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 12:30 p.m. on March 9 on Goshen Avenue between Mooney Boulevard and Demaree Street.
Police say a Nissan Altima was going east on Goshen when it crossed over and crashed head-on with a Toyota Tacoma.
Both drivers were taken to Kaweah Health, where Hernandez died from his injuries.
It was unclear whether drugs and alcohol were factors in the crash.
An investigation is ongoing.

The Nissan driver was rushed to a hospital, where they were pronounced deceased.
