Brentwood, CA. – One person was hurt in a head-on collision that took place Thursday night in Brentwood.
According to authorities, the wreck occurred around 6:10 p.m. on Vasco Road, just south of Camino Diablo.
CHP officers reported that a Honda CR-V heading north on Vasco Road crossed over the double-yellow lines and collided head-on with a Toyota Prius going south.
The Prius had three occupants. A passenger in the car was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and another passenger were hospitalized with major injuries.
The man driving the CR-V was also hospitalized with major injuries.
The crash is under investigation.

Brentwood, CA – One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Vasco Road in Brentwood Thursday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 6:11 a.m. on Vasco Road at Camino Diablo.
A grey Honda sedan collided head-on with a grey Toyota sedan in unclear circumstances.
One person died in the wreck.
The identity of the deceased was withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
