Nipton, CA. – Two people were injured in a fiery car collision that happened Friday night in Nipton, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The wreck took place around 10:38 p.m. on the 15 Freeway near Nipton Road.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision. One of the cars caught fire and became fully engulfed after the accident.
One person who sustained major injuries was airlifted to an unknown hospital.
Another person was taken to the hospital by ground ambulance with minor injuries.
CHP officers are investigating the collision.
