Indio, CA.- Two people were hurt in a crash involving a pedestrian in Indio on Sunday afternoon, according to the CAL FIRE.
The incident took place in the area of Clinton Street and Miles Avenue at around 12 p.m.
Two vehicles collided at the intersection and the impact pushed one of them into a pedestrian.
The pedestrian was pinned under the vehicle and had to be rescued by firefighters.
One party was transported to a hospital with serious injuries.
Another patient was taken with minor injuries.
An investigation to determine the cause of the collision is ongoing.
