1 Seriously Injured in Tulare County Crash on Highway 137 near Road 28
Tulare County, California (May 2, 2022) – At least one person was seriously injured in a car accident in Tulare County on Sunday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two sedans were involved in the incident that was reported at around 4:11 p.m. on May 1.
CHP said the vehicles collided at 2644 Highway 137 near Road 28 under unclear circumstances.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and helped those involved in the incident.
One person with major injuries was taken to a hospital for treatment.
A section of Highway 137 was shut down as crews worked to clear the scene.
The CHP is handling the investigation.
