Police said a Mazda MZ3 was traveling southbound at a high rate of speed on the highway when it lost control, left the roadway, rolled over multiple times and came to a rest against a tree

Jackson County, OR – One person was killed Thursday morning in a single-vehicle accident in Jackson County, according to the Oregon State Police.
The fatal accident occurred around 6:00 a.m. on September 4 on Highway 99 near milepost 6.
Police said a Mazda MZ3 was traveling southbound at a high rate of speed on the highway when it lost control, left the roadway, rolled over multiple times and came to a rest against a tree.
The Mazda driver, Tristan Mitchel Donaldson, 21, of Rogue River, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other details were released.
The police are investigating the accident.
