Minor Injuries Suffered in South El Monte Accident on Highway 60 near Peck Road
South El Monte, California (September 3, 2022) – Minor injuries were sustained in a traffic collision that took place Friday afternoon in South El Monte, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened at around 1:11 p.m. on westbound Highway 60, just west of Peck Road.
A gray Honda and a black Kia were involved in the accident.
Firefighters responded to the scene and blocked the No. 1 lane.
An unknown number of parties sustained minor injuries, as per the report. It was not clear if anyone was hospitalized.
CHP is investigating to establish the cause of the collision.
