Stockton, CA.- A couple was injured in a head-on collision in Stockton on Sunday night, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on Highway 88 east of Village Drive shortly after 8 p.m. November 23.
According to the CHP, a 72-year-old man driving a red Ford Mustang on the highway made an unsafe passing in the dense fog and collided head-on with an oncoming white Ram occupied by the couple.
The two riding in the Ram, identified as Tony Noceti and his wife Rowena Noceti, both of Stockton, were transported to San Joaquin General Hospital with critical injuries.
Rowena was identified as the driver of the Ram.
The other driver was also hospitalized with critical injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by the CHP.
