At Least 1 Injured in Tomales Motorcycle Accident on Tomales Petaluma and Twin Bridge Road

Tomales, California (May 23, 2022) – At least one person sustained major injuries in a motorcycle collision in Tomales on Monday evening, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.

The incident took place on Tomales Petaluma and Twin Bridge Road just after 7:40 p.m. on May 22.

According to the report, a motorcyclist collided with a white SUV in the area under unclear circumstances.

The impact sent the motorcycle nearly 20 feet off the side of the roadway. The SUV also overturned off the roadway.

Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after and attended to the people involved in the crash.

At least one party reportedly suffered major trauma.

Further details on the collision were not immediately released.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
