Tuttletown, California (May 4, 2023) – Timothy Kearn, 20, of Sonora, was injured in a traffic collision that happened on Reynolds Ferry Road in the Tuttletown area of Tuolumne County, authorities said Wednesday.

The wreck happened west of Highway 49 and involved a 2005 Honda Accord and a 2016 Lexus IS350.

The California Highway Patrol said the Honda, driven by Kearn, was eastbound on Reynolds Ferry Road when it crossed the centerline and collided head-on with the westbound Lexus, which was stopped to make a turn.

The Lexus was being driven by Dennis Braun, 62, of Waterford.

Both drivers and passengers in the Honda, David Vogel, 19, of Sonora, and Tavon Henderson, 27, of Stockton, sustained minor injuries.

Authorities also arrested Kearn on suspicion of DUI following the incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
