Sacramento, California (May 23, 2022) – Tien Le, 46, of Sacramento, was among two people killed in a Saturday morning crash in South Sacramento, according to Sacramento Police Department.

The crash involved two vehicles and occurred on Stockton Boulevard, just south of 65th Street, at around 8:50 a.m. on May 21.

Authorities spotted two drivers driving recklessly in the area of Stockton Boulevard and 47th Avenue.

The officers tried to stop the drivers, but they left the area, leading to a chase.

Shortly after, one of the drivers collided with an innocent motorist.

Two occupants of the victim vehicle died in the accident. Le has been identified as one of the victims.

The other involved driver was transported to a hospital with major injuries.

The suspect, who was also driving recklessly but was not involved in the collision, fled the scene.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
