San Jose, CA. – Three people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision Wednesday evening in San Jose, according to police.
The crash happened around 5:30 p.m. near Rancho Drive and Monterey Road.
Two vehicles were involved in the crash under unclear circumstances.
Two people sustained life-threatening injuries, while the third suffered moderate injuries.
Emergency crews rushed all three to local hospitals for treatment.
Police shut down Monterey Road in both directions between Capitol Expressway and Fehren Drive as they investigated the crash.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
Units are currently investigating a two vehicle accident in the area of Rancho Drive and Monterey Road. Three adults have been transported to local hospitals with major injuries. Two of which, are life-threatening.
