According to California Highway Patrol, Percy was walking in the slow lane of the freeway when he was hit by at least one southbound vehicle

San Dimas, CA.- The pedestrian who was struck and killed by vehicles in San Dimas on Saturday night has been identified as Thomas Percy, 68, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office.
The crash happened on the southbound 57 Freeway near Arrow Highway shortly before 10 p.m. August 9.
According to California Highway Patrol, Percy was walking in the slow lane of the freeway when he was hit by at least one southbound vehicle.
Percy is suspected to have exited a white Honda sedan just prior to the accident.
The CHP reported that Percy was pronounced dead at the scene.
At least two southbound lanes of the freeway were shut down as authorities worked at the scene.
The crash is under investigation by the CHP.
