3 Killed in Portland Multi- Car Accident at Powell Boulevard and 63rd Avenue
Portland, Oregon (July 21, 2023) – On Thursday night, authorities responded to a multi-vehicle collision that claimed three People and left another one with serious injuries in Portland.
The grisly multi-car accident was reported at around 9:34 p.m. July 20 at Southeast Powell Boulevard near Southeast 63rd Avenue, according to the Portland Police Bureau.
Multiple vehicles were involved in the accident. However, the manner in which they collided was not immediately established.
The authorities who responded to the incident pronounced two people dead at the accident scene.
A third person involved was transported by ambulance to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, where they died while receiving treatment.
The fourth party remained at the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The names of the victims of the crash were not immediately released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
