Panorama City, CA — A 19-year-old male pedestrian was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash Tuesday night, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The collision occurred at approximately 7:55 p.m. on December 10, 2025, at the intersection of Van Nuys Boulevard and Tupper Street.
Authorities said the pedestrian was crossing Van Nuys Boulevard inside a marked crosswalk when a white Toyota sedan traveling northbound struck him and continued without stopping.
The teen suffered severe injuries and was transported by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics to a hospital, where he remained in critical condition. No arrests have been made, and the driver involved has not yet been identified.
The cause of the hit-and-run crash remains under investigation as officers work to locate the fleeing vehicle and its driver.
