Stockton, CA – One person was killed and another injured in a Tuesday night car collision that happened in Stockton, according to the Stockton Police Department.
At about 8:15 p.m. January 6, police were called to the scene of a major collision in the area of Golden Gate Avenue and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
According to a preliminary investigation by the Stockton police, the collision was between two vehicles. Emergency crews responded to the scene and found two men who were involved in the accident.
Medics transported the two men to a hospital, where one of them was pronounced deceased. The other man was hospitalized in unknown condition.
The identities of the two drivers were not immediately released by the authorities. Additional details including how and why the vehicles collided were not available.
The Stockton Police Department officers who responded to the incident are still working to determine the exact cause of the collision.
