Phoenix, AZ – The Phoenix Police Department has identified a motorcyclist killed in a Wednesday afternoon collision on Indian School Road in Phoenix as 55-year-old Stephen Franklin.
The mishap happened at around 3:45 p.m. January 15 on Indian School Road near 23rd Avenue.
A preliminary investigation revealed an SUV operator was pulling out of a private drive when it collided with Franklin's motorcycle.
Franklin was transported to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The female driver of the SUV did not show any sign of impairment. She remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
No additional details regarding the mishap were provided.
