Spanaway, WA. – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision on Thursday evening in Spanaway on Thursday evening.
According to Washington State Patrol, the accident happened around 5:59 p.m. on SR-7 and 204th Street East.
A motorcycle reportedly collided with a tow truck in unclear circumstances.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The name of the deceased rider was not immediately disclosed.
The driver of the tow truck was unhurt.
The northbound and southbound lanes of SR-7 were blocked and drivers were advised to use alternate routes.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
