For unknown reasons, a 74-year-old woman crashed into the store's front entrance at the shopping center

Kirkland, WA.- The woman who was killed when a car crashed into a shopping center in Kirkland on Sunday afternoon has been identified as Sheila Stanton.
Acording to the Kirkland Police Department, the accident took place at about 2 p.m. August 31, at the Grocery Outlet in the Bridle Trails Shopping Center.
For unknown reasons, a 74-year-old woman crashed into the store's front entrance at the shopping center.
Four people, including the driver, were transported to hospital for treatment.
Stanton was one of the shoppers struck by the vehicle.
She succumbed to her injuries while enroute to the hospital.
There was no update on the conditions of the other patients.
The Kirkland Police Department is working to determine the cause of the crash.
