Tucson, AZ – The motorcyclist who was killed Friday afternoon in an accident in Tucson has been identified as 59-year-old Shannon Eskridge, according to the Tucson Police Department.

The deadly accident happened on September 19 in the area of Golf Links and Pantano.

Police said Eskridge was riding eastbound on Golf Links Road when a moving truck exited from a private drive. The moving truck tried to turn left across three lanes of eastbound Golf Links Road to travel westbound and was struck on the side by Eskridge.

Eskridge was killed in the collision.

Eskridge was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

The driver and passenger of the moving truck were uninjured.

The truck driver was not impaired. They were cited for failure to yield exiting a private drive.

The police are investigating the accident.
