Phoenix, Ariz. – Authorities are investigating a serious injury wrong-way collision on Interstate 17 in Phoenix early Tuesday morning.
The Phoenix Police Department responded to the wreck at around 4:32 a.m. on the southbound 17 Freeway near McDowell Road.
Two vehicles collided head-on after one of them veered onto the oncoming traffic.
One person was critically injured in the wreck.
