Sebastopol, CA – Three people were injured, including two moderately, following a two-vehicle crash at an intersection in Sebastopol on Wednesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

Preliminary reports indicate that a white Volkswagen SUV collided with another white SUV, blocking both lanes of the roadway. One of the occupants was reportedly trapped inside a vehicle and required extrication.
Authorities confirmed that two individuals sustained moderate injuries and another suffered minor injuries. There were no immediate reports of arrests.
Emergency responders, including fire and medical personnel, arrived at the scene and worked to assist the injured and secure the area. Authorities also requested road closures along Hessel Road and the surrounding areas to manage the situation.
The crash caused significant traffic disruptions in the area, with the intersection temporarily blocked as crews worked to clear the wreckage.
The incident remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
