Sebastopol, CA – One person was hospitalized after a DUI accident involving a tow truck that happened Monday evening at an intersection in Sebastopol.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the head-on crash was reported around 7:26 p.m., February 23, on State Route 116 at Occidental Road.
A black Mercedes-Benz sedan and a yellow tow truck towing a white Volvo were involved in the accident.
First responders found the vehicles blocking the intersection.
The driver of the Mercedes was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. That motorist had reportedly been drinking prior to the collision. It was unclear if they were arrested.
The driver of the tow truck was not injured.
Authorities are investigating the accident.
