Minor Injuries Sustained in Gilbert Multi-Car Crash at Gilbert Road and Civic Center Drive
Gilbert, Arizona (September 15, 2022) – A school bus and several other vehicles collided Thursday morning in Gilbert, resulting in minor injuries, as per a local news source.
The pileup occurred at about 9 a.m. on S Gilbert Road at E Civic Center Drive.
A Gilbert School District bus and at least four other vehicles were involved in the accident.
Police said all parties involved in the collision were being evaluated on scene for minor injuries.
The school district said two students were on the bus at the time of the crash but were not hurt. Their families were informed, and the students were taken to school.
Traffic on northbound Gilbert Road was affected due to lane closures following the crash. As of 9:45 a.m., only one lane was open.
